Exploring Shikoku!

Konichiwa!

My latest trip to Japan was really memorable. Or as my sister calls it, back to our second hometown!

This time, we're heading to Shikoku! Shikoku is the smallest of Japan's major islands. Shikoku's major cities include Matsuyama, home to 8 of the pilgrimage temples, and the feudal Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen, one of Japans earliest known hot-spring spas. The island's mountainous interior also has hiking trails and rivers with whitewater rapids.

Prior to driving to Shikoku we did a quick pit stop at USJ for the Final Fantasy VR Ride! My dad used to play the game many moons ago when he was studying in the States! My first VR ride!

After that we headed of to Naruto (Sounds familiar eh?) Hyah! Well it wasn't really like the comics or the anime. It was a whirlpool, and supposedly the 3rd largest in the world. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the big ones. It was still really fun because we could walk under the bridge directly above the whirlpool. Here are some photos:

I wish I could see more but I think it's about time to end this blog post right here. See you guys in the next one. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
